| §38．一般動詞 VOL.2(主語の人称をつかむ！！) |
| 〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓 ●今回より、一般動詞の文法で、「主語が3人称単数」の場合について演習し ていく。学校や塾でまだ習っていない生徒もいるかと思うけど、解説を加え ながら進行していくので、ゆっくり考え、理解して、問題を解いていくこと。 一問ごと解答と照らして、間違ったところはノートに必ずやり直していくことは不可欠！ ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ ＜Q.1＞に入る前に。 ◎英語はまず主語を正確につかむこと！ そしてその人称と単複をね。 単数 複数 ＜代名詞の場合＞ 1人称 I we 2人称 you you 3人称 he she they it まず、1人称単数は、I(私は)。よく出てくるけど、たった1個しかないんだ よ。1人称複数も、we(私達は)で、これも1つ。あわせて2個の単語だけ。厳密 にいうともっとある(1人称複数)のだけど、最初はこれでいいと思う。ほぼ基 本が完全に頭に入ってから、ややこしいところを考えればよい。 次に、2人称単数、you(あなたは)。1つ。 2人称複数はスペルが同じyou(君達は)。これも1つ。あわせて2個。よく英文 で出てくる主語だけど、実は単複あわせて2つ。たった、それだけ（今は、あ えてそう思っておく）。 ここまでまとめると、1人称単数は1つ。1人称複数も1つ。2人称単数も1つ。 2人称複数も1つ。計4つ。たったそれだけ、簡単じゃない。ということは、そ れ以外は全部、いいですか、すべて「3人称の単数か複数」になるわけ。何個 あると思う？ 20個？ いえいえ、もっと。100個？ いえいえ、もっとある。 何千個とはいわないけど、とてもたくさんあることは事実。この認識をちゃん ともって。あとは、単数か複数の区別ね。それくらいは自分で考えなさいね。 I は1人称単数だけど、my father(私の父は) は3人称単数でしょう。なぜな ら、「私の父は」は「私は」でもない、「あなたは」でもないのだから。「私は」でも ない、「あなたは」でもないのが、3人称単数！なんだよ（複数はいま、省く） you は2人称単数(or複数)だけど、your sister(あなたの姉は) は3人称単数 なわけ。何故なら、「あなたの姉は」は「私は」でないし、「あなたは」でも ないから。Tom(トムは) もNancy(ナンシーは) も、もちろんshe やhe と同じで、 3人称単数だね。 既に知っているthis もthat も、主語の場合、3人称単数。 a pen もそう。 the book もそう。an old man も3人称単数。Lake Biwa(琵琶湖)もそう。 this dictionary も3人称単数。「もの」の3人称単数も多いね。he,she,it だ けでない！ これくらいでいい？ 滅茶苦茶たくさんあるよね。 次に、ちょっと考え、理解しておかねばならないのをいうと、 例えば、their mother (彼らのお母さんは)。「かれらは」じゃないでしょう。 彼らのお母さん（1人）、だから、これも3人称単数！ your dictionary(あな たの辞書は) も、「あなたは」では全くない。あなたの辞書、で、ものでしょ う、3人称単数ですね。 次。3人称複数。これも多いよ。they(彼らは、それらは) は当然。these も those も3人称複数。 your friends,some peple,three boys,your brother's books,those girls, なんて、すべて3人称複数ですね。Tom and Bob もそう。many students もそう。 my pencils も3人称複数。わかってきた？ では、演習に入りましょうか。 ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ＜Q.1＞次の語句が文の主語になる場合、人称と単複の区別をして、その番号 をあてはまる〔 〕に、入れなさい。 ＜各2点(完解)×6＝12点＞ 1.the river 2.Ann 3.we 4.those trees 5.you(君達は) 6.her bag 7.Mike and Tom 8.tennis 9.it 10.the lady 11.many students 12.my mother 13.your house 14.I 15.our teacher 16.you(君は) 17.his son 18.these stamps 19.a baby 20.some chairs 1人称単数〔 〕2人称単数〔 〕3人称単数〔 〕 1人称複数〔 〕2人称複数〔 〕3人称複数〔 〕 ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ ＜Q.2＞に入る前に。 ◎一般動詞で、主語が「3人称単数」の場合。 ●肯定文では、動詞に s(es) をつける。 I play tennis. →He plays tennis. You study math. →She studies math. I have a new camera. →Tom has a new camera. ●否定文では、does not(doesn't) を用いる。 I don't like apples. →My mother doesn't like apples. You don't live in this city. →Your uncle doesn't live in this town. They don't speak English. →Their teacher doesn't speak English. ●疑問文では、Does ＋主語＋原形動詞＋〜？ Do you go to school by bus ? →Does your sister go to schol by bus ?
